As department of Erste Group Bank’s Global Markets division the team “Financial Institutions” covers Erste Group's world-wide relationships with domestic and international financial institutions, banks, insurance companies, asset management institutions, pension funds and cash management providers.

We support and co-ordinate Erste Group's business with Austrian and foreign financial institutions partners ranging from payments, cash management, customer referrals, custody services, trade and export finance, asset management and capital markets activities.

The network of savings banks all over Austria with around 900 branches, our bank subsidiaries with further 1.600 branches in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Croatia and Serbia as well as numerous correspondent banks worldwide form a first-class base for serving the needs and requests of our clients and Financial Institutions partners.

Our divisionalised Financial Institutions department in Vienna, complemented by local Financial Institutions departments based in our local banks in our home market countries, is responsible for the management of all bank limits which are at disposal for whole Erste Group.

Brokerage and global execution is provided by our Group Markets Execution Team. Domestic and international customers are serviced across multiple asset classes.
