Erste Campus
Sustainability is at the heart of Erste Campus’s design. Even during construction, Erste Group Bank AG opted for 100% green electricity, aiming for the certificate of the Austrian Sustainable Building Council (ÖGNI). In December 2012, the prestigious “PLATINUM” certificate was awarded. During construction, care was taken not to exceed the legally prescribed levels for dust and noise pollution.
The building is also barrier-free.
The services of OM
The following sustainability measures have been put in place at the new headquarters:
- Concrete core activation for heating/cooling fed from geothermal energy piles in conjunction with the Vienna district heating and cooling network
- Double-layered façade with smart sun protection and operable windows
- Night-time temperature moderation
- Modern LED lighting
- Energy recovery from elevator systems
- Endeavours to reduce annual primary energy demand
Perron
Salzburg’s second-highest building is characterised by functionality, contemporary architecture and its special position between Platform 1 of Salzburg’s central railway station and Rainerstraße.
Completed in 2019, the business quarter houses not only the operating units of Salzburger Sparkasse but also the Salzburg branch of OM Objektmanangement.

Sparkassen Platz
Sparkassenplatz is located in the heart of Innsbruck, bridging the west side to Maria-Theresien-Straße via the Sparkassen-Durchgang. The headquarters of Tiroler Sparkasse reside in buildings A and B of the lively square.

Branch Design
The corporate design for bank branches that now applies throughout the Group was markedly developed and shaped by OM back in 2016. Alongside a fundamentally new spatial and functional concept, the use of an innovative, modern and comfortable idiom of materials and shapes was prioritised. The corporate architecture that was developed in an inter-disciplinary project now substantially characterises the appearance of Erste Bank der oesterreichischen Sparkassen AG and many Sparkassen branches.
Rebranding
During the modernisation of the brand image of Erste Group Bank AG in 2022, OM Objektmanagement (Architecture and Project Management department) collaborated with Group Marketing and the agency Jung von Matt to reconceive and design the logos, flag signs and brand image for the branches and buildings of Erste Group Bank AG.
The rebranding for the branches of Erste Bank der oesterreichischen Sparkassen AG is currently being rolled out by OM and will be completed by the end of 2024.
Tower
The Tower is a key element of Quartier Belvedere’s ensemble of four structures with three towers – one of which has been rented by Erste Group Bank AG – and an eight-story hotel building, all adjacent to the Schweizergarten park.
The planning was led by DELUGAN MEISSL ASSOCIATED ARCHITECTS and COOP HIMMELB(L)AU, in cooperation with ArchConsult ZT GmbH. The buildings are interconnected across the two subterranean levels and share a continuous plaza on the ground floor.
