Erste wins six Euromoney awards for its private banking offerings

Best for High-Net-Worth clients in Austria

Erste Private Banking has been awarded six best-in-class distinctions in the newest private banking awards from the industry publication Euromoney. In Austria, Erste was recognized as the “Best Private Bank” and “Best for High-Net-Worth” customers, while it also won the “Best Private Bank” category in Romania. In both Austria and Croatia, Erste was honored as “Best for Discretionary Portfolio Management”, an activity for which Erste Asset Management is responsible within Erste Group. Euromoney also selected Erste Group as “CEE’s Best Chief Investment Office”.

Erste Group’s private banking offering in Austria stands out on the basis of its advice and services for high-net-worth (HNW) individuals. In addition, Erste Private Banking is also the market leader in the country with regard to its investment fund business. In Austria, Erste Private Banking services over 6,700 customers and manages around 51 billion euros in total assets. Euromoney’s newest awards recognize Erste Private Banking in Austria as “Best Private Bank”, “Best for HNW“ and “Best for Discretionary Portfolio Management”.

Erste Private Banking has been offered by Banca Comercială Română (BCR), Erste Group’s local subsidiary, since 2010. Erste Private Banking covers all regions across Romania, with a strong presence in Bucharest and also in five other leading cities: Cluj, Timisoara, Brasov, Iasi and Constanta. Erste Private Banking Romania provides its services and products to around 3,500 UHNW and HNW clients, with total assets under management of around 2.7 billion euros.

Erste Private Banking has been operating in Croatia since 2007 and has offices in Zagreb, Rijeka, and Split. In total, Erste Private Banking in Croatia serves over 1,000 wealthy clients with nearly 900 million euros in Asset under Management.
