Erste Digital: Merger creates one of region’s largest IT services companies
Erste Group is merging its IT companies to create one of the largest IT services companies in Austria and the CEE region. s IT Solutions Austria and Erste Group IT International will be merged and operate as Erste Digital as of 1 July 2021. Over 2,000 employees from 49 nationalities will work for Erste Digital in ensuring that Erste Group’s customers continue to benefit from innovative digital solutions that help them handle their banking needs and build prosperity.

Ensuring digital delivery excellence for 16 million customers
Erste Digital is responsible for developing, implementing and running the IT solutions used by Erste Group’s over 16 million customers. The core customer-facing business solutions that Erste Digital enables span across the retail, SME, and corporates & markets segments and include George, the digital financial companion used by more than 6.5 million people.
