New York Branch
Erste Group has been operating a safe and sound wholesale banking model in North America for around thirty years via its U.S. federally licensed New York Branch. It is responsible for all North American business activities of Erste Group and offers these services:
- Lending activities
New York Branch is an active participant in the syndicated U.S. corporate loan market with focus on investments in commercial and industrial (“C&I”) loans. - Purchase of Receivables lending
We provide Core Market Suppliers/Exporters with the option to sell Accounts Receivables related to their sales to U.S. Buyers/Importers to us on a non-recourse or recourse basis. This programme will enable the Core Market Suppliers/Exporters to extend more favourable payment terms to their U.S. Buyers and keep working capital needs to a minimum.

We provide favourable terms for Core Market Buyer/Importer purchases of U.S. machinery and capital goods. As we are a U.S. Export Import Bank (Eximbank) approved lender, transactions can be structured with Eximbank support.

Erste Group Bank AG Hongkong Branch was established in 1998 and is a fully licensed by the Hongkong Monetary Authority. It is Erste Group’s bridgehead in Asia, covering 19 countries in the region and serving the group’s clients with a range of selected wholesale banking services:

A central contact point providing advisory and business matching services for Erste Group clients operating/interested in Asia and Asian companies operating/interested in Erste Group’s home markets. - Lending Activities
Term and Revolving Loans, ECA Financing. - Trade Finance
Pre/Post-Shipment Finance, L/C Discounting, Receivables Purchase Facilities. - FX Hedging
Currency hedging products for freely traded Asian currencies and other regional currencies on a non-deliverable basis subject to availability and liquidity.
