Christina Mayer is new management board member at Intermarket Bank

On 1 January 2023, Christina Mayer joined the Management Board of Intermarket Bank AG, which consists of Mayer and CEO Sebastian Erich. She is responsible for all client-facing activities of Intermarket Bank AG, which as a subsidiary of Erste Group Bank AG is the leading service provider for supply chain finance in Austria.”

Christina Mayer graduated from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration with a focus on export and foreign trade. She started her career in 2000 in the Large Corporates department of Bank Austria Creditanstalt. She also gained her first international experience at UniCredit Group before moving to Erste Group in 2007. As Parent Account Manager for large corporate clients, Mayer was responsible for a broad portfolio of clients from various industries with a lead function in the industries "Machinery & Engineering", "Transportation" and "Metals" combined with a cross-border responsibility. Most recently, she led the "Industry Team Consumers" in Erste Group’s Large Corporates division since 2021 and additionally had a leading role in regular client survey conducted by the banking group’s Large Corporates division.
