The quality of life of our employees depends to a large extent on whether their working life and private life are in balance. We ensure that all areas of life can be reconciled.
The kindergarten at Erste Campus
Welcome to the Mini-Campus! Here children can play, laugh, and let off steam while their parents work at the Erste Campus. Up to 120 children are cared for all day by qualified nursery staff.
In addition to painting, crafting, and playing, your children can also take their first steps in learning English as a foreign language with help from a native speaker. And during the summer months the children can quickly find themselves in nature in the nearby Schweizer Garten.
Opening hours correspond to the working day: Monday to Friday from 7 am to 7 pm. The Mini-Campus is only closed for one week of the year – from 24. December until 1. January.
Summer day-care for primary school students
Childcare during the summer months has never been easier. We look after 6-12-year-olds during the long holidays and organise an unforgettable summer.
Experienced teachers collaborate with Kinder in Wien (KIWI) to create a varied programme in July and August – from sport to engineering, and from creative workshops to a craft corner. This gives significantly more flexibility to working parents and allows for individualised holiday planning.
Parental leave for both parents
Parents do not want to miss the most precious moments in their children’s lives. In order to suit today’s family models, we make it possible for both parents, as well as all registered partners, de facto partners, and parents of patchwork families*, to devote themselves to their offspring for one or two months. We will take care of the preparation for your team and will ensure a smooth return to work.
* Your child must live in the same household.
Sabbatical Care
Taking on responsibility for relatives in need of care is a particular challenge for caregivers. Sabbatical care allows all employees to take up to 24 months for an intensive care of close relatives*. In consultation with your management, an ad-hoc start is also possible for unexpected or acute cases.
We do not leave you alone in nursing situations. The workers council, our health center and the Hilfswerk are available for advice.
* Close relatives are spouses, life partners or people in a marriage-like partnership, children, parents, grandparents, siblings, grandchildren, parents-in-law, nursing and adoptive children.
